Chakiñan, Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, after the invitation of the headquarters of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), where it is indexed, and aware of the importance of promoting open access to science, has decided to assume from the present date (06-05-2020) a new publication modality: Preprint, which facilitates the presentation to the academic community of the manuscripts accepted by the Scientific Committee before their final publication is made, in order to achieve visibility, obtain quotes, even evaluative comments that benefit science actors.

In this sense, those manuscripts reviewed by peers, accepted and awaiting publication will be systematically published on the Scielo-Preprint platform and in Chakiñan (PREPRINT PAPERS).
